I've lived next to Charlie's for 16 years, they make a good local pizza, and they have a delicious deli slice the owner Bobby is cool but being from the Jersey shore I'm used to the award winning 5 star pies but for local not bad ;)
Me and Mom just ordered from there and the Liguini was dry and it’s supposed to be a meat sauce and has little to no meat and I ordered calzone and it’s not even filled and it’s ice cold. We called them and they did nothing about it and they were rude. Don’t recommend their food to anyone
Called and ordered $80 worth of food one night, the next night we called and tried to order again and they told us that it was too far away and refused to deliver despite being only 3 miles away, a less than ten minute drive. When we brought this up on the phone the guy was rude to us and told us that we were wrong and it took much longer. Went there all the time on my lunch break and would've been regulars if they weren't so rude and ridiculous regarding their deliveries.
We called to place an order and immediately knew it was a bad idea. rude on the phone like we were bothering them! Went to get the food and we had to stand there waiting for 5 minutes while two guys were arguing over something before disappearing to the back. We won't intrude again. It's a shame, because the food was pretty good. We would've been regulars a few times a week if they were a little nicer.
I ordered from them yesterday for $77 according to my receipt and it was decent. Decided to order again today because I'm in the process of moving in and a very rude man said that they do not deliver to my location. I was confused, I had just ordered yesterday. I explained that I live only 3.7 miles and it is only an 8 minute drive away according to my gps so how could you not make such a short delivery? He angrily said that that's only "If you fly" and he had other deliveries. An inexcusably rude experience.
