Stephanie Merritt was extremely professional in assisting me throughout entire process of correcting minor problems with my RV. She really impressed me when I witness her multi-tasking despite suffering from her allergy. Also her partner at the desk display the cooperative spirit when Stephanie was not available when I called. In addition I felt that my RV was in good hands when I met the supervisor of repair shop. The only thing that trouble me is that I had to wait approximately 6 weeks for my appointment. That troubles me and many other RV owners I know.
There are other places that will treat you with much more respect. I am going to be making a complaint with the Better Buisness also.
Called there to schedule a repair for our pop-up trailer and also to have it winterized. They told us to be there as early as possible on the scheduled date (they open at 830 I presume). We arrived a few minutes early, went to the service department at 830 and were told that there was some training going on with the service technicians and that we had to wait until 9 to talk to someone about our trailer. Come 9 o'clock we go to the counter to go over everything, they told us they have no record of our appointment, that nobody remembers talking to us, they wouldn't have told us to come so soon, and to top it all off, they don't even service pop-up trailers. Now the fishy thing (as if that wasn't fishy enough) is that right before 9 we heard one of the service department receptionists calling one of the techs to tow our trailer into the rear, so why would they do that if they don't service pop-ups. Anyway, after being told that they would not take our trailer, they gave us the number of another place nearby who "services everything", however we called them and they don't repair pop-ups either. Very dissatisfied that we had to drive 45 minutes down there to be turned away, and will never go back nor will I recommend them to anyone
I had a water heater wires melt, staff was nice and honest, Stef scheduled my appointment, and Bob setup my warranty work, warranty took few hours, once cleared, mechanic started right away after approved. Still took all day, but it got done in one day. So I am happy I didn't have to stay in a hotel.. missed a day of work, but that not hurting my feelings too much.. main thing they got me back on the road.
Just a warning to the consumers do not bring your RV here for service. The service manager Stephanie is so unprofessional and very very nasty. I can't believe that the owners do not know how she represents their company, it is terrible the way she treats the customers.
I have been going to Camping World of Lakewood for several years for service issues with my 2 campers. The service is better now than it has ever been in the past. Stefanie has assisted me several times in the past year and has gone above and beyond to get me results. Just recently, I contacted Camping World the day I was leaving for a camping trip with a broken refrigerator. Anyone who owns a camper knows how hard it is to obtain prompt service especially in a pinch. Camping World employees were able to fix my refrigerator and allow me to get on my way with my trip. Stefanie made this possible with her professionalism, along with her care and compassion of her customers. Thank you!
